We had 4:45pm reservations on the Tuesday, March 5 shuttle to Willmar from the airport. Lo and behold our plane was delayed an hour with mechanical problems. I immediately called the EE office but sadly the 6:15pm shuttle was full and we would not be able to get one until 9pm. This is a long wait when arriving at 5:15pm. I asked the woman I talked to if we could still check in with the desk when we arrived figuring that maybe someone had changed their reservation. She said yes. I wish she would have said that she would give the driver our name so that if someone did take a different shuttle, we would be the first on the list for the 6:15pm. Anyway, when we arrived we went to the desk. There was a driver named Bill there. He was SO friendly and welcoming to us. We were so tired. He did indeed have people who took the earlier shuttle and did have room BUT he didn't have anyone to drive us to Willmar. He went above and beyond and found Dan who was driving a woman to Paynesville. Then Dan went above and beyond and agreed to take us to Willmar. These 2 men were so accommodating and so friendly. This is our second year using EE and will definitely use again and recommend it to others. Kudos to Bill and Dan!!!

Drivers Duffy and Doug were outstanding! Thanks to the drivers, their experience with Executive Express was wonderful!

Jill S booked another reservation, she wanted to pass on that she rode on Feb 13th; Chuck was the driver and she said there were 2 anxious ladies riding the shuttle with her and they were worried about being late…Chuck was very patient with them and handled it very well! Way to go Chuck!

Dear Hotel Guests,

The Holiday Inn & Suites will be resurfacing the hotel parking lot during the week of October 21st through October 28th.

With registration of guests’ vehicles at the front desk, the hotel has offered complimentary parking service to the community upon request. However, during the week of October 21st through 28th, the hotel will not be able to provide parking accommodations for guests who are not staying in the hotel guestrooms or attending a hotel function scheduled. In order to complete the work, any vehicles left in the lot during this time that do not meet the above criteria will be towed.

Please feel free to visit with our Manager on Duty or myself should you have any concerns regarding the above. We look forward to making these improvements and serving you again in the near future.

Maple Grove Expansion

 

Exciting News for Maple Grove Area. Convenience AND Discounts!

Executive Express has expanded the frequency of runs from/to Maple Grove to/from MSP. We now go 14 times a day EVERY DAY. We also have changed our stop/pickup location to better serve you. We are now located at the new IHOP restaurant located at the Weaver Lake Road Exit off of Interstate 94/494. IHOP is open 24 hours a day. They are excited for this new partnership and are offering 20% off your entire food bill when you are travelling with Executive Express!
 
We are currently promoting this new relationship on local Cable TV during the Spring opf 2012.
 
We welcome all new passengers to Executive Express as a result of this new partnership.


Minnesota Snow Storm - Important Advisory

 
To:             All Executive Express Customers.

Re:              Winter weather advisory – Tuesday morning to Wednesday night

We are committed to continue to operate our scheduled runs unless roads are closed by the authorities.  If we do travel we will be going very slowly to ensure the safety of all passengers and the drivers. You are traveling at your own risk and you may miss your flight. We cannot guarantee that we can arrive or depart on time in bad weather or poor winter conditions conditions.

We cannot travel under the following conditions.

1)    If any portion of Interstate 94 closes between St. Cloud and MSP all runs will be cancelled.

2)    If any portion of Interstate 94 closes anywhere between Alexandria and St. Cloud we cannot take any passengers north of St. Cloud. This will eliminate all stops beyond St. Cloud. If we depart for MSP and the MN Dept of Transportation closes the roads while in route we will be forced to stop our run and return back.

3)    If Highway 71 closes, we will have to cancel all stops between Wadena and Sauk Centre

4)    If Highway 28 closes, we will have to cancel all stops between Morris and Sauk Centre

5)    Other conditions may result in delays or cancellations and we will do our best to notify you in these situations.

Please be advised that we will post notices of cancelled runs at the Holiday Inn in St. Cloud, the Perkins Restaurant in Alexandria, and our desk at the Minneapolis Airport ground transportation center.

We thank you for your trust in Executive Express and we hope you understand cancellations in these conditions.



New Iowa Schedule

New Iowa Schedule in Effect January 9, 2012!!
 
 THERE IS NO EXCUSE NOT TO EXPERIENCE
"TRANSPORTATION RELAXATION"!!!
 
We are now offering 14 runs Sunday - Friday and 13 on Saturday to and from the Des Moines International Airport. Check out our Fares & Schedules tab then click on Iowa then the location that suits you to see the new departure and arrival times. Our new schedule is designed to meet all departing and arriving flights with a minimum amount of waiting.
If your arriving flight is within a few minutes of our scheduled shuttle leaving the airport it is always best to reserve the next shuttle and if you arrive on time to meet the earlier shuttle we will transfer you.
 
For those of you traveling on the Megabus or Greyhound you will notice you can now choose those as pickup/drop off locations in lieu of the Des Moine Airport when making your reservation online. If you phone in your reservation make sure you tell the reservationist the time of your Megabus or Greyhound departure or arrival.
 
We are pleased to offer our Iowa customers these improvements to our service.
